A and M Manufacturing Terms and Conditions for all Purchase Orders

Unless otherwise specified, all suppliers must provide certifications of conformance to the latest revision specifications as of purchase order date. 

A and M Manufacturing retains authority to disposition any non-conforming product.  Supplier shall notify A and M, in writing, of any non-conforming product, already shipped to A and M Manufacturing or at supplier’s location, as soon as possible.  Suppliers are responsible for any lost or damaged product.  Suppliers are also responsible for the control and prevention of counterfeit product, per 8.1.4 of AS9100.D/ISO90001: 2015 standards.

If determined at any time, the supplier is not approved by the facility listed as the Current Design Authority to provide a process listed in the purchase order instructions, the supplier must notify A and M Manufacturing, in writing, immediately and return any material provided without performing the unapproved process.  Unapproved processes performed may result in non-conforming product and therefore be the responsibility of the supplier.

All suppliers will flow down all requirements or purchase orders and supplemental purchasing conditions to all sub tier suppliers.  Sub tier suppliers must be approved, in writing, by A and M Manufacturing prior to supplier use.  Sub tier suppliers must maintain a AS9100/ISO9001 or NADCAP quality management system or equivalent when required. 

A and M has the right to validate the supplier Quality System status by confirming the sustained certification approval, quality surveys, and/or on-site surveillance audits.  If change or laps in system, supplier must notify A and M before accepting purchase order.    

A and M Manufacturing reserves the right to enter any work place necessary to ensure product quality or contracted work, records and material for its own representatives, its customers, or government agencies.  The supplier must make records available within 48 hours or 2 business days of records request. 

With written notice, A and M Manufacturing reserves the right to amend or cancel any purchase order prior to shipment of product due to supplier performance, non-conformance, or customer cancellation.  A and M will evaluate and record the supplier(s) ability to meet contractual requirements, including product characteristics, specifications, on-time delivery, completion of documentation, and responsiveness to corrective actions.  A and M reserves the right, at our discretion, to approve and/or disapprove a supplier for lack of performance. 

When applicable or flowed down to calibration suppliers must maintain a ISO 17025 calibration system.  Calibration standards much be identified and used and must be traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards Technology). 

When applicable or required, suppliers must maintain an approved calibration system (where applicable) which ensures valid measurements within the appropriate accuracy and is traceable to the NIST. 

Unless otherwise specified, all records or products / processes must be maintained indefinitely.  Records must be stored in an area that meets all local Fire and Life Safety Codes that prevents loss, damage, or deterioration.  All electronic data must be stored in a secure manor, as to prevent breech of confidential data, and backed up to maintain the integrity of the data. 

All drawings, specifications, or other data provided by A and M Manufacturing shall:

Remain the property of A and M Manufacturing and/or its customers and shall be returned upon demand

Be held confidential and not disclosed in whole or part to a third party without consent of A and M Manufacturing

Be disclosed only to the necessary personnel who have been advised of the confidentiality requirements

Be protected during handling and storage to maintain the confidentiality of the data.

All suppliers are responsible to ensure employees and outside vendors are aware of how they contribute and impact the product they are producing/supplying and its conformity, their contribution to product safety, and the importance of ethical behavior.
